Artist Statement

For my personal project, my theme is Narrative Through Still Life. My goal was to create still life images that tell a story. My photography reflects who I am as an artist because I used objects/toys that I already had in order to create scenes. I value use of imagination as well as self-expression very highly, so I created still life's with things that I like and have created. I also like to have a lot of objects in my photography, so I used that to my advantage in order to have many details and eye-catching compositions.
